Need help with KindSift? Email passytotola@gmail.com. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. You never need to send us your photos.

What happens to photos and videos I delete?

When you confirm a deletion, KindSift asks Apple’s Photos system to delete only the items you selected. Apple moves those items to Photos → Recently Deleted, where they normally remain for 30 days unless you recover them or permanently remove them sooner. If you use iCloud Photos, the deletion may also appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

To recover an item, open Photos → Recently Deleted, unlock the album, select the item, and tap Recover. You can also read Apple’s recovery instructions.

Why can’t KindSift undelete my photos?

KindSift does not upload or keep copies of your photos and videos. After iOS completes a deletion, KindSift no longer has access to those items and cannot restore them. Recovery is controlled by Apple in the Photos app. Open Photos → Recently Deleted to recover an item before Apple’s 30-day period ends.

How do I restore my purchase?

KindSift’s unlimited-cleaning unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Then open KindSift → Settings → Restore purchase. You can also tap Restore purchase on the unlock screen. Restoring does not charge you again.

If the purchase still does not restore, check your internet connection, restart KindSift, and try again. Apple’s in-app purchase help page provides additional checks. If you were charged and still cannot unlock the app, email passytotola@gmail.com.
